David C. Singer

Originally from Pennsylvania, I had been coming to Ketchikan, Alaska, as a seasonal worker since 2008. Whenever I left, it wouldn’t take long for me to miss Ketchikan, the people here, and wish I was back. After spending much of 2020 and the pandemic in Pennsylvania, I permanently relocated to Ketchikan in April of 2021.

I like to draw with pen & ink and paint with acrylic. Focusing on the fine details really helps me relax and I like to be patient with a drawing and see the progress over time.

It warms my heart to know that someone has chosen one of my drawings to share
with someone or display in their home.

It is my hope that I can connect with more people through my art and that this wonderful community of artists and this beautiful scenery will continue to inspire me to create more art.

P.T. Barnum once said, “The noblest art is that of making others happy.” This is one way I hope to do that.
